Landweg Frankrijk 40 x 60 cm
De afgelopen weken was het weer in Frankrijk ook niet best, net als in Nederland. De wind was koud. Af en toe was het ideaal weer om te schilderen; bewolkt met weinig wind, kortom heel stabiel.
Het licht is dan de hele dag nagenoeg gelijk en je kunt in alle rust aan een landschap werken. Ik kreeg het helaas niet af, en de volgende dag was het wisselend bewolkt, wat betekende dat ik af en toe op de wolken moest wachten om met hetzelfde licht te schilderen.
The past few weeks the weather was also not very nice in France. The wind was cold. Occasionally it was ideal weather to paint; cloudy with light winds, in short, very stable. The whole day the light is almost equal and you can work in peace to paint the landscape. Unfortunately I could not finish it in one day. The next day it was both cloudy and sunny, which meant that I had to wait occasionally for clouds to get the same light to paint.
