Ik had zin om de weidse, glooiende landschappen te schilderen. Helaas was het er net zo koud als hier. En bovendien regende het regelmatig. I wanted to paint the wide, accidented landscape. Unfortunately, it was just as cold as at home. And, moreover, it rained regularly.
