Bepaalde vormen of kleuren.\u00a0Wat ik in dit\u00a0landschap zo mooi vond waren de blauwe bergen in de verte.\u00a0Ik begin met het bepalen van de compositie. Wat moet er op het doek komen? De grootte van het doek, rechthoekig of vierkant is hiervan ook afhankelijk. Je kunt een diaraampje of je handen gebruiken om de compositie te bepalen.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\"><em><span style=\"font-size: small;\">I am struck by something in the landscape. Colours or forms. What I liked here are the blue mountains. I start with defining the composition. What should be on the canvas? The size of the canvas, rectangular or square is also depend<\/span><\/em><\/span><em>ent on this. Op mijn palet probeer ik de kleuren te mengen die ik zie. Met een penseel breng ik die kleuren aan.<\/p>\n<p><em>I give the canvas a monochrome\u00a0color and with a brush I sketch the scene. On my palette, I try to mix the colours that I see. Now I apply another layer of paint with my palette knife.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Thuis kijk ik of er nog iets moet gebeuren. Dat kan zonder dat je het landschap voor je hebt. Het schilderij staat immers op zichzelf.<\/p>\n<p><em>At home I look if anything is okay. This you can do without seeing the landscape.
