Molen in het Westland (30 x 60) 2010
De expositie in museum Het Prinsenhof in Delft is verlengd tot eind april. Het is een fraaie tentoonstelling over het Westland met o.a. werk van Liebermann, Maris, Van Gogh en De Bock. Deze witte molen van mij hangt naast een schilderij van de door mij bewonderde Weissenbruch.
Toen ik trots naast mijn werk ging staan om een foto te laten maken werd ik door de suppoost verzocht om een stapje naar voren te doen. “Niet te dicht bij de schilderijen komen.”
The exhibition in museum The Prinsenhof in Delft has been extended until the end of april. It is a wonderful exhibition about a part of Holland called Westland with works included Liebermann, Van Gogh, Maris and De Bock. This white windmill of mine is hanging next to the admired Weissenbruch, a member of the Hague school.
When I proudly stood next to my own painting to let my husband take a picture, I was warned by an attendant not to stand to close to the paintings.
